BoxCryptor is an encryption software optimized for Dropbox, Google Drive and Microsoft SkyDrive. With BoxCryptor for Android, the encrypted Dropbox folder, Google Drive or Microsoft SkyDrive can be easily accessed via smartphone or tablet.

BoxCryptor for Android requires the following permissions:
– Network communication: Required for Internet access
– Storage: Required to read/write files
– Your accounts: Required for Google Drive support. This allows to retrieve your Google account information when – and only when – connecting to Google Drive. You will then be asked to grant BoxCryptor for Android access to your Google Drive/Docs files.
Due to restrictions of the Microsoft SkyDrive API there are limitations when using BoxCryptor for Android with Microsoft SkyDrive:
– You can not create a new encrypted folder. Please use BoxCryptor for Windows for this.
– Uploading files is limited: With filename encryption enabled, files cannot be uploaded at all. With filename encryption disabled only these file types can be uploaded: documents, photos, videos, audio.
